ROYAL EASTER SHOW 2008

NZCAHF Director Shona Hammond Boys presented Children's Art Awards at the Official opening of the Royal Easter Show 2008

The New Zealand Children's Art House Foundation exhibited a special collection of art work that has been selected to be showcased in Te Papa National Museum in June 2008. This collection is made up of talented child artists who have made outstanding artwork, part of a National Collection of art, collected over 10 years in the Children's Art Houses throughout New Zealand. The collection is stored in Paeroa at the National Headquarters.
We would like to have the collection reproduced and be able to display these art works throughout NZ schools and in public places.

“Creative Children Ensure Creative Communities”

Following the opening of the 1st Childrens Art House in 1996, it became apparent that the childrens productivity led to needing a national venue expose. Contact with the Royal Easter Show was established and it was agreed to exhibit childrens work in the Art Hall alongside adult artist work in 1997.

Annually, the New Zealand Childrens Art House Foundation exhibit children's art works in the Logan Campbell foyerImages: eastershow.jpg
